Imagine this....you have a test or an interview or any event of that sorts tomorrow...there is a fifty - fifty chance that the event will turn out to be successful for you or be a failure. If you succeed, then for sure you will go to the next stage in life....but if the odds are not in your favour.....then you will spoil your whole reputation for sure. You can also skip this event and lead life as it was. So now that you are in a situation like this...what will you do? Will you try your chance....or will you skip the event?
Look, instances like this are faced by all people irrespective of age, caste, creed, race, etc...It is pretty common, but the way in which you choose to face it matters. If you will still face the situation...then...well and good....But if you are planning on skipping it, then this post is for you....

Let's take a basic example of such a situation for students...yes...exams! Just the word exams and tests tends to panic a lot of students. Who knows, maybe even some elders might cringe thinking about the struggles they had to go through just to fill one paper. To make it worse, these exams have their hierarchy of horror with names like annual or final exams, mid-term, pre-mid-term, post-mid-term, etc....This is one such situation where you will either make a good impression on the teacher or end up spoiling your reputation by getting worse marks....or you could either skip it and just get away with an absent mark in your mark sheet.
I am not telling that I support the whole idea of examinations but still, we are in a world where we got to just jump on the bandwagon. So now that this is the case...lets discuss what you can actually do...now....how is attending the exam going to affect you...if you do the test really well, you will create a good impression on the teacher and definitely be motivated to write the forthcoming tests. If you fail or get really bad marks...trust me ..that is not bad either....yeah....the teacher will know that you did not do the test well....but that is how they come to know where you stand in the subject. Moreover...you will understand where you got to work. Writing tests often tends to reduce your fear towards exams. I have experienced this, at the time of my board exams...we had to write two exams everyday such that even the board exams felt like normal tests. So overall, weighing the positives and negatives of the situation....the positives definitely outweighs the negatives. So I suggest dropping the idea of skipping the exams.
In all situations, it is easy to analyse it according to their positives and negatives....all that you got to do is think....just think...and just face the situation. In attending the test you at least tried your level best...but in skipping it you are just being a coward...come on.....you don't deserve to be a coward....you got to give yourself the chance of at least trying. As I told...something is better than nothing.....SEE YA!!
